Since I haven’t posted an update since November of 2020, I thought it would be a good idea to do so.
Since May of this year, Risen Savior has no longer been encouraging staggered seating or mask wearing. Attendees are of course still free to wear masks, if they choose. And if you need or prefer to practice social distancing for any reason, please simply choose a spot in the pews that enables you to do so, and politely inform those you are talking to before or after the service of your preferences. You can also contact me (the pastor) in advance of your visit and inform me of any special needs or circumstances, so that we can do our best to accommodate you and to be sensitive to your needs.
As of September 17, we also have a new podcast—“A Passage, A Paragraph & A Prayer.” It is available via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Podchaser, Deezer, Overcast, and other podcast directories. Each episode consists of a passage from the Bible, a paragraph meditating on that passage, and a closing prayer, and is generally between three and four minutes long. New episodes are posted every Monday and Wednesday. If you don’t have a podcast app, you can listen to the episodes on the podcast’s website.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me (contact info at the bottom of the page).
Serving in Jesus’s name,
Pastor Biebert
Editor’s Note: The Podcast, “A Passage, A Paragraph, and a Prayer,” is still written and voiced by Pastor Biebert, and is now produced by his new congregation in Winner, SD, Trinity Lutheran Church. We encourage you to continue to listen to Pastor Biebert’s podcast, and we hope to produce another of our own soon!
